About Peter

Peter’s strength lies in understanding human behaviour and performance. He focuses on optimising the fit between people and the systems in which they work, improving leadership acceptance, embracing enterprise risk management and performance.

With over 25 years domestic and international experience across a variety of industries, Peter is well credentialed in the public and private sectors. He is a certified Coach Practitioner in Neuro Linguistic Programming and extensively trained in Emotional Intelligence. He uses core concepts and frameworks that are developed from NeuroLeadership, as part of his effective contemporary leadership, risk management and change agent tools.

Peter is passionate about effective risk management and staff engagement processes. His particular field of expertise is enabling Executive Leadership teams reach their full potential through the development of core skills around leadership engagement and effective risk management. He has postgraduate qualifications in Enterprise Risk and Safety Management, which underpin the leadership, human factors and risk framework programs he delivers.

He also lectures at the University of Newcastle for the School of Psychology. Specialising in Human Factors and Adult Education. Peter is a regular speaker at several human factors conferences, including PACDEFF.

Peter is also a passionate supporter of beyondblue (www.beyondblue.org.au) and a Director on the Queensland Development Board of The Hunger Project.
